Thankful for My Dad, Chet
It’s the time to be thankful. We even set aside a special day each year to be thankful. This year, giving thanks is especially poignant for me because of the man in this photo. That’s my Dad, Chet Wesolek. MMP was his brainchild and he started this enterprise 40 years ago on November 28, 1978. It’s funny, when my Dad was in the Navy, his core knowledge base was electronics, not metallurgy. He caught that bug while working for a company called Glidden. The work fascinated him, especially his introduction to powdered metallurgy parts and iron parts for a multitude of projects.
