MMP has brazed prototype and pre-production components for various complex thermal systems being developed at Rocky Research. The quality of workmanship from MMP has been high, and parts have always been delivered on time, often to demanding schedule. For prototype work, the most significant value in working with MMP has been their willingness to (1) discuss design and brazing considerations for each job, (2) to suggest design changes that have improved our components as well as making them more easily brazed, and (3) to braze single items and small quantities. Rocky Research will continue to rely on MMP for prototype and production brazing and for their expertise in designing brazed assemblies.”

We have recently had work done by your company. The work looked great and the timing was good also. Your team made every effort to accommodate us and succeeded. Although it is not common for us to need these services it does come up so once in a while. Your company will be remembered for any future work we may receive. Thank you for a job well done.

Aluminum Heat Treatment

We Guarantee Our Work … It’s Right or You Don’t Pay*!

You Will Know It’s Right Because:

  •  Every product (or group of products) is tested.
  • Where applicable, Statistical Process Control (SPC) determines the optimum heating time and temperature for heat treating the parts.
  • If your parts need special handling - we are happy to do that for you!  Hand loading of parts is common in our shop to maintain the integrity of your customer's investment.
  • The process is verified by using hardness testing and/or electrical conductivity or tensile data.
  • Each piece or group of parts is inspected and tagged before it leaves our shop.
  • Our customers receive the exact metal conditions needed for their parts to be dependable and durable above the minimum AMS hardness standard.
  • You will receive your parts when you need them relative to standard processing timeframes.

Integrity.  Expertise.  Experience.  ISO 9001:2000 certified to guarantee your satisfaction each and every time.

We do it right and we do it on time!

You can rest assured because quality systems are in place to guarantee your parts are right. You and your customer benefit from the highest level of quality control procedures, documented by our ISO 9001:2000 registration

Statistical Process Control (SPC) is in effect and substantiated by tensile hardness testing and electrical conductivity testing with instruments traceable to the National Bureau of Standards (NBS).

Modern Metal Processing heat treats to hardness levels above the minimum AMS standards thus assuring the quality and integrity of your parts.

Your advantage is our 30 years of experience in aluminum heat treating.   Computer systems alone cannot be relied upon to protect a piece from distortion.  With four options for quenching, we can minimize if not eliminate distortion.

You benefit from a strictly controlled processing structure (as verified by ISO 9001:2000 registration) with multiple options to hold key tolerances that your applications demand.

Your Advantage with MMP:  Integrity, expertise, experience and commitment to complete customer satisfaction.
